Hi guys i get some vids in .mp4 format and i want to convert it into .mpg so i can play it in my DVD Player
Hope someone can help me!

1.) The MPG container is not supported by any DVD players that I know of.
2.) MP4 is just the container of your video. What formats are inside it? (Hint: AVInaptic, GSpot Information Codec, MediaInfo)
3.) If you ripped the MP4's, just re-rip as the format you desire.
Where did you get your mp4's?

Thanks too much to all you guys, i get the files from an site that let me download videos from Youtube and Google vids.

example (free) workflow;
a. dump to unc avi
mencoder -ovc raw -oac pcm -o out.avi input.mp4
b. encode to mpeg2 using something like hcenc
c. mux/author with muxman

Or even simpler than described by 'smok3':
Try FAVC or DVD Flick or AVStoDVD.
