Please help I'm pulling my hair out mobile AVI unplayable

I have done a mobile encode in DVD-RB latest version but every time I try to play it I get the following message from media player classic on my pc.

The AVI file was not prepaired for sequential reading

I'm running on Vista ultimate 32bit and have the latest full K-lite codec pack instaled.

Help I've been trying to fix this for a week now.

this is a GPS unit, so is probably unreliable for playing audio back, not is job really...watch out that you do not roll your car LOL.

In any case, this error means that the unit thinks your video and audio are not muxed properly. You can open the avi in virtualdub mod, use direct stream copy for audio and video, and save under NEW name. I would not relay on a GPS unit to play movies though...again that is not its job, just a marketing ploy.
