Only Green Screen After Ripping

Hi, i want to Mummy returns and all the time i have a green movie after ripping and no sound :(

what can i do to get it right?

I use

DivX 4.11
XMpeg 4.2a

what it sounds like to me is taht u dont have the right codec's installed.
make sure u ahve the codecs to PLAY the movie as well.
just a suggestion.
also, when u extracted the movie from dvd, all the security key codes went ok?

No i think it is not the wrong codec,

btw other Films will go.

ok i will tell u how i make it, I dont Rip the VOB files to HDD cuz i dont have enough space i do from DVD 2 AVI Direct with Xmpeg 4.2a but by this movie it it dont work it seems.

i have set up a 1500 Bitrate and in the Rip Monitor it will show 7k to 8k Bitrate so i see that something goes wrong.

maybe u can tell me more about the Security Keys and where i can find them or how to handle them

security keys, think of it as a password for a zip file, without it you wouldn't be able to encode a dvd; if you can't rip the hold dvd into your HDD, then encode vob by vob.

well its simple really.
what i do to make sure the keys are enabled is to let the DVD autoplay for a second or two before stopping.
therefore letting the DVD player authorise all the keys, or whatever it does.
then no problems after ripping
