I tried tsmuxer 1.7.6 and tsremux 0.21.2 both have issues. With PDVD 7&8 at about 7 min into the film a very loud pop and play back freezes. With Showtime it will play past that point and won't pop but a few minutes later play back gets choppy.

Both the original and ISO of the original will play fine. The remuxed or the ISO of the remuxed will not play.

did anyone have success remuxing this film?

datman,

You've gotta give a bit more info. What streams are you removing, what are you keeping when you mux?

hmmmm. well if the disk only includes one audio track and subtitles (along with the h264 video track), i'm confused as to what else you'd be able to remove. It seems that you want to keep those streams/subs, and those exact streams/subs are exactly what's included in the disc. Can you elaborate? I'm probably just missing something, wouldn't be the first time.

Also, just thought of something - try and mux to Blu-ray format (using TSMuxer) and then create an iso of the resulting folder. I've found that trying to just play the resulting TS/m2ts can sometimes lead to choppy playback but that's solved with just making it into an iso. I've asked why in this forum and other places but haven't really been able to get a good answer or figure out why :P

there is something weard with this one movie. I have muxed many. I always keep the best audio track and english subs.I have found the tsmuxer works best for dts-hd and tsremux for true-hd and lpcm audio tracks. Just my 2 cents

It might be my disc but it will play fine from the disc or the iso.

I was hoping someone else has done this film and could say how they did it

Did you try my suggestion of muxing to blu-ray THEN creating an ISO? I've yet to see this NOT work.
