Hi, On my new Trust Wireless Optical Mini Mouse MI-4930Rp the back and forward buttons won't work under XP Pro SP3, be it with the driver from the CD, be it with the one from Trust's homepage. Any idea? TIA.

Does the mouse control panel have any extra panels to configure those buttons? That's usually where drivers put the configuration.

No, it doesn't. The driver does not ship with any panel. There's only the Windows mouse panel, which doesn't refer to any extra buttons.

Did you try the driver version 1.1?

Thanks a lot. The latest driver isn't any better. The helpdesk wouldn't take my question (no response, literally, to my pressing the button, site wouldn't open). I gave up (not normally an approach I'm known for) and bought myself the Logitech Nano, of which all buttons work flawlessly without any Logitech software installed. Highly recommendable.

I always use Logitech for that very reason. My wireless keyboard has many extra controls, and all but two of them function with no special drivers installed.
