hey now !, i recently converted a HD DVD .evo to .mkv and i would like to play that file on my mac, the VLC player wont work and so doesnt the quicktime plugin doesnt work.. anyone have a reccomendation?

didnt work, all i got was a white screen... sound was on, but no picture.

Was the HD DVDs codec VC1, because I don't think that will play ( without re-encoding ) but all others will.
I'm not sure on this and don't have any VC1 clips to test, so some one correct me if I'm wrong.

yep, didnt work either.

Was the HD DVDs codec VC1, because I don't think that will play ( without re-encoding ) but all others will.
