hey guys, ive learnt how to convert .EVO to .mkv by demuxing and extracting the eac3 to ac3 etc.. and when i convert the two together using mkvmerger GUI, i begin to test it on WMP11 with CCCPack codecs, and at the start it runs, but it starts to get laggy and the sound is out of sync etc... am i doing something wrong? the framerates are kept from the original setting from the .EVO itself... the movie im converting is Transformers HD DVD if thats a concern..

- it aint my computer specs.. if thats a concern here it is

CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.4ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB GDDR5
RAM: 4GB DDR2-800

etc etc...

please help !

- im only doing this so i can run this movie on my 24 inch mac without doing things dodgy ..

Your computer is probably too slow. Try a fully multithreaded decoder like CoreAVC, or if you use an old CCCP, upgrade to the 2008 version (which has partial multithreading).

yep i did that, and now it runs smoothly, thanks man, but now i have to enable/disable it when i want to watch other h.264 videos.... which is a pain.. anyways, i tried running the same file on my iMac 24" c2d, and i ran it on VLC... and i get an error of a bug saying the computer is too slow and it gets stuck on one frame... any help?

- mikeVLC is singlethreaded, so of course its too slow.
