Im trying to convert vc-1 to h264 so I can stream through the ps3.

Use eac3to to mux the VC-1 to .mkv and then just drop the .mkv into one of the many tools in this forum, like MeGUI, ripbot264, staxrip, automkv, etc.

Great advice. This method has worked flawlessly for me.
