Howdy .

I have looked for days on here (i had to, i wasnt allowed to post for 5!) and have been lurking for ages ... i have caught 'snippets' but not one concise guide for how to copy from HD-DVD to re-encode into an MKV container. I am not a total noob, but i am nowhere near the people on here, and i am looking for a simple, concise, step by step guide on how its done ...

i know this has been asked before, and believe me, i have looked through almost every thread on here, and while still dont know how its done, i do at least have a better understanding.

soz if this gets me into trouble

and many thanks

Remux .evo with eac3to -> .mkv. Once you have mkv rencode it in ripbot264. Simple isn't it?

Atak_Snajpera - would you be able to give a little more color on the Remux .evo with eac3to -> .mkv. I downloaded eac3to_more_gui, but am lost with all the options exactly what setting I should choose. Can you not just convert the EVO to MKV only using Ripbot? Thanks for your help
