Hi !

I´ve got two questions related to dolby surround.
1) What Azid command switches/downmix matrix must I use in order to downmix an AC3 stream with 6 channels to a dolby surround wave file ?
2) What ABR MP3 bitrate do I need in order to keep all surround information ? 128 kBit ABR with LAME or more ?

Azid does downmix to Dolby Surround by default if you don't specify anything.

LAME uses Mid-Side stereo instead of Intensity stereo (which destroys phase information), so Dolby Surround information will be preserved if you use joint stereo defaulted in the --alt-presets for all bitrates.
