Hi all,
I need a bit of help.

I have windows xp with 3 mpeg 2 decoder installed:
nero, ffdshow and power dvd.

I want to known what decoder windows xp is using for the windows preview (in thumbnails) and how I can change for default.

Get GSpot from http://gspot.headbands.com It will tell you which codecs are being used.

To change the codec:

in the menu do > System > List Codecs and Other Filters. Find the decoders and see
what the "Merit" is of each. The one with the highest is the one that will be used.

Right click on one to increase or decrease the "Merit."
