I will have a bunch of question related to how to use Windows Movie Maker optimal :stupid: but i start with my most prioritated question about it

How the hell do i overlap audio-files wich eatchother if it isnt the sourch-audio of a added videofile first, just wanna import a audio, then import another audio wich shall start a bit into the other audio

This pics pretty mutch describe my confusion

Read the help file.... WMM is so easy to use, you simply place all the audio tracks you want in the one bar then drag it over abit to overlap. Done. I have done this several times with home video's and it works fine.

simply put two audio tracks on the time line and drag one over the other.

Thanks!
I think this is a fine example of a to obvious answer for the manual to ever mention :) i have read i thou..but i on the other hand suck reading manuals on minority languages like...English ;)

Perhaps someone allso could tell me if its possible to lower the volume at certain locations in WMM, cause to me it looks like the whole track becomes affected from start to end if you turn up/down the volume on it, i would like to mark the loop start/end locations exactley where i want it..in that track

i promise you that i will not find this anwer in the manual otherwise :stupid:

I dont think you can.....
WMM is too simple for this.
Your best bet is going to be manually cut the tracks into multiple pieces using something like audacity, then insert the multiple pieces, then you will be able to mute sections.... will be a pain in the arse tho.

I sugest you look for a program better suited to what you are trying to do.

I see, to instead return to previous question..i still have issues to overlapp 2 tracks, atleast when it short tracks under 5 seconds, which gives another result than Running Skittle's pic..atleast for me..but im impractical injured on the other hand :)

What's the crash data (http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket) for the crash you hit when doing that?

Untill you kill the process

but it doenst happend everytime, and we insted need to focus on the fact that i anyway can't drag short tracks longer than a copy of itself

Seems like you must start in the corner of the sourche track, woul be nice if you could direcley dropp it in the middle :(

That is a design feature, not a flaw.....

The only work around i see is take your short track and add a few seconds of silence to the end of it.

What ever you are trying to acheive is just too damned advanced for WMM, WMM is a very simple program, it's time to look at other solutions!

I dont understand English..but i thou understand the rebuke touch in that sentence :) so we leave that

..and look at this
http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/8382/namnlssabgargo1.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
the "under"-track's playtime is 3:08
Then i drag over the other track which are 6:03! long
and still it doenst reach to the start of the 3:08 track
it shall be possible to drag it way past it, but the line dies out on 80 %

And what is that solutions..i think 'Vegas' is to overwhelming (perhaps not if there is a Swedish version?)
Photoshoop..? im not to advanced :) only thing i wanna do is basicly combine alot of small tracks, add video repeat-areas, and slowmotion areas, and perhaps add own text into the video
it's for youtube to be honest

Ok, well it takes ages for me to learn a new program, while i do that

i can ask about Movie Maker again
i have added a movie on 816 Mb!
now im gonna replace the whole 1.21 min track with another one, its just that when loading things in this program it must cut it up to mini-bits, so now i have 200 small audio tracks on a row i must go in and add silence to,
is there a way to control the whole track as single unit and add silence?

I solved that problem by multi-tasking all clips with tab lol

Now we can move to Ulead, my opinion is after trying..this was not an easy program..for me, its confusing when you operate everything in different windows, i need structure and oversight like Movie Maker, the user manual the offer is 34566 pages long and most talk about some web-camera i think :p but if you dat720;1150152 have instructions just how to perform thoose 2 requested operations im listening :)

Otherise do you ore anyone else here know any other programs thath can add slowmo and repeat?
