Long time since I had to ask a question here... But I have a problem, and I'm getting out of ideas >.< I got a Nokia 6500 Slide, and its supposed to play MPEG4 / h.263 @ up to 640x480 / 30fps, yay! The videos the phone records are MP4v 640x480@25fps [bitrate ~2000-3000kbps] and play fine, yay... But all videos I encoded myself via XviD [settings reduced to the minimum] or tools like SUPER [yeah, i know...] run kinda jerky, even at 320x240 n bitrates ~300kbps ;_; Only halving the fps [to 12.5, 15, etc.] seems to help! Maybe its a muxing problem [atm i use YAMB -> 3gp] or has to do with the max bitrate / VBV size? [Tho i dont see why the heavy 2000-3000 kbps videos the phone records dont cause any problems then, eh?] Suggestions?
