adding animated chapters in dvdauthor GUI?

ok prob wrong forum area/website (?) for this but someone in here might know what obvious thing im forgetting to do! Im using dvdauthor GUI to create menus for my own dvds. I have added my video and where the movie chapters go (i have created 8 chapters) but even though i have clicked on 'auto add animation' on the left hand side for each inserted chapter, when running the final menu/dvd no clips are shown running in the chapter boxes above any chapter name.. can anyone help? I have heard this is quite a popular program so hopefully someone knows what i have forgotten to do. The video plays fine from within the menu and chapters can be selected, but theres just no menu preview

found it! Had to right click with the mouse on the folder section on the left hand side where my main vob video file was, select visual chapter editor, auto create some chapters using the GO button, making sure 'clips- x sec' was selected/filled in, then 'saved clip+chapter' before finally going back to the main menu to re-add my chapter animated buttons. easy process but not the most straightforward layout.. Lol going back to bed
