This may have come up before, but I havn't seen it lately, so I thought I would post it.
If you are trying to view DV AVI files and are only seeing the small, low-res version instead of the highres one in windows media, etc, here's a quick registry tweak to fix it:
Just add this key to view at full resolution.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DirectShow\DVDecProperties]
"PropDisplay"=dword:000003e8
If you want to go back to the low-res version, just delete the key.
