MPEG2 gadget: CCE scan

In case you're wondering if a mpeg/VOB is encoded by CCE just try this small application:

It scans the stream for header alignment, CCE does it different than all encoders I know of.

As the title says, it's only a gadget, it serves no real purpose.
There were some questions here in the forum if it's possible to identify a CCE encode so for some people it might be useful.
Besides that, it's just fun to program such an application :)

This app is unreliable at best. It does not properly detect if CCE was used to encode an MPEG/VOB. I tested it on 3 different VBOs I personally encoded with CCE v2.67.00.23 and it said CCE was not used.

That may be, but it proves that the app DOES NOT detect all CCE encodes; thus, it is unreliable.

CCE Scan does NOT correctly identify encodes done with CCE SP2 v1.00.00.03 either; and SP2 is newer than 2.70.

The latest v2.7X was released by Cinema Craft in 2007.
The latest SP2 version was released by Cinema Craft in 2008.
