If you've been following the "new and alternative codecs" thread, you've probably seen discussions of my long-delayed 1080p24 test clip (I'd love some feedback on some of my content questions!).

The content is from a Microsoft-funded shoot a few years back, and we have full rights to the video and audio, which we're making available under an extremely flexible license (you can do pretty much whatever you want as long as you offer credit). The production used both 1080i and 35mm cameras.
If the smaller versions above whet your whistle, I've got the full source for the 1080i30 one in 15 GB Torrent. It's a Lagarith encoded 8-bit 4:2:2 with 5.1 uncompressed audio.

There's several seeders for it at the moment, so if you're interested, get it while the getting's good!

Inspired by this thread from Ars Technical, I also made an "optimum ATSC" version of the clip:

I'd be interested to see anyone come up with a better-yet MPEG-2 version that follows ATSC specs. There's definitely some painful blocking in some sections here, even at this high bitrate CBR (although I think it's still better than nearly all broadcast ATSC would be with the same content).
