Color different in preview with AviDemux

Just begin to try AviDemux，i notice that the color in preview is a little different from that shown by a media player or Virtualdub. Video output is fine(same as source), but BMP/JPG screenshot is still a problem(same as preview). This also causes inconvenience if i would apply a color filter.

Does anybody tell me how to adjust the preview's color? i use AviDemux 2.4.1 r4017 under Windows XP.

This is a known problem. Select "SDL (DirectX)" as "Video display" in Avidemux preferences.
And press the "Play" button, as this won't have any effect to display still images...
