Basically i wish to put 2 dvds onto one disc and have chapters for each disc on the menu page. I only have nero 7.
can anyone please show me how I can do this. The nero manuals are not helpful.
thanks

Hi!
I don't believe you can accomplish this with NERO...

I'm not sure that you will be able to either; have you tried looking into some of the opensource programs that are out there to see if there's one that would make it work?

I was going to ask a similar question, but more extreme. Since I use an HTPC for playback of everything, I don't see why I need to have to split a season of a TV show onto multiple discs/VIDEO_TS folders. Is there a simple way to put a whole season or more (i.e. multiple DVDs' worth of files) of a show into a single VIDEO_TS folder and build a custom menu to select any episode? Is it really difficult to do such a thing, or would it be too expensive to get the software to do it?
An alternative would be to rip out the individual episodes, of course, but I'm a n00b at that too. At least I know that's possible, and all it'd take is a little reading to get get it sorted out. Thanks for any responses.

You can use Ner0 Recode in reauthor mode to put the 2 discs together. Then grab a program called Titlewriter (http://www.digital-digest.com/software/titlewriter.html) to make yourself a basic menu.
Alternatively, use DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php) to merge the 2 discs together, keeping both original menus. A fully freeware approach to this is set out here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=684600#post684600).
