DTS Passthrough

Currently i have video files stored on my MSS, which I stream to my PS3. Problem is for whatever reason the PS3 won't play DTS audio files when streamed. I was curious if I passed the auido through the PS3 to my Harman Kardon receiver via the HDMI cable if I could get DTS auido that way?

Any help would be appreciated
