Where's a good forum or site to ask about capturing streaming video?

I'm actually fishing for help with downloading a particular (NOT copyrighted) video stream, and I didn't have much luck posting in the newbies forum... so is there another forum on this site where I should be asking? Or a website that's more geared to streaming video issues?

I do have some understanding of streaming video and digital video in general... it's not just about getting the movie. I really want to figure out what's going on with the stream and how it works. I'd be really grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction... I've tried google searches but nothing seems to point to my specific problem.
