I love this filter, however, for some reason in some scenes there is severe motion blurring or something to that extent. I know this is the filter because this problem does not occur when its off, even when used by itself this happens. Just look at the attached picture. The face is severely distorted, it appears that the character has two sets of eyes and it just looks bad. I have tried messing with the script but to no avail. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem please let me know. I really don't want to stop using this filter because it gives very good results.
Thank You

I had the same problem with many videos and the motion blur is even worse with HQ=2, hence I'm using MC_Spuds (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=131279) and it works wonders! :D

Apparently using hqdn3d,MVDegrain3, and setting the blksize too large will worsen the problem. Deleting hqdn3d from the script seemed to improve the image as did lowering the blksize, however, the problem still persists.

I should mention I'm just a novice when it comes to Avisynth scripts but from what I understand MC_Spuds has MUCH better motion compensation and the function is much more complex than TD which ultimately results in retaining more detail and less blurring to remove noise.
Take a look at the script and see for yourself! ;)
