AutoMKV Archos 605 profile question

I saw a "Archos 605" profile on AutoMKV's x264 profiles. I know that the Archos 605 supports h.264 (with a plug in), but I thought it couldn't support MKV. Will it work on an Archos 605 with the h.264 plug in ?

Not sure about mkv support on Archos 605, however I do note that with show all profiles ticked (required to show the said profile) then the same list of profiles are available regardless of whether you choose mkv or mp4 container. Therefore a given profile's availability in the list shouldn't be read to mean support by a specific piece of hardware.
