Hello. I am having quite a frustrating time of it with just simple resizing of an existing 320x240 avi clip.
I have tried a variety of combinations and ALL provide the same result, which is a small file with ONLY the audio and NO video.
The original avi clip had been produced with Xvid codec. I have tried the following when trying to save the avi in Virtualdub after setting the filter "Resize" to 512x384 (Lanzcos3 or Prcecise Bicubic .75):
Set "video compression" to Xvid and click "full processing" mode.
Audio: Set "video compression" to mp3 and click "full processing".
Also tried same video compression and Audiod clicked "stream copy".
I also tried the Divx compression with both audio options above....
This has occurred with versions 1.6 and 1.7 of Virtdub.
It just DOES NOT produce an avi with actual video in it.
If someone could walk me through the basic staeps to ensure that I will get a video output, I would appreciate.
Am I missing something here? The existing guides do not walk you through specifics of upsizing, and have not found an FAQ that addresses my particular problem.
Thanks in advance...
