Cannon GL2 Long Range Lens ???

Hello all.

I have a Cannon GL2 with the 20X stock lense.
What I am looking for is what lense do you recommend for long range.

I'm looking for ~1000 yards range, or more.

I have the Astrscope Night Vision lense.
but I need the lense where I can stand miles away during the day and zoom in.

The Canon EF lens adapter is supposedly pretty neat - it lets you put any of the EF SLR still camera lenses on a GL2 / XL2. Because of the extreme crop factor, it makes a short focal length lens into a very long focal length lens.

I know it works for the XL2, but not sure about the GL2...

The GL2 has a fixed lens, which means the only way you're gonna use a EOS lens on it is through a 35mm adapter.

Steven, you might want to look into getting an adapter to attach your camera to a telescope.
