Hello,
Very weird situation here.
Have an encoded Divx4 2-pass .avi, 900 megs. Tried to chop it into 2 pieces. Nandub starts to write out the first portion, and stops at the VERY beginning. Just sits there. When I shut down the hanging Nandub, I'm always left with a 16meg corrupted file. It doesn't matter what size of a file I try to write out. Currently using XP and the Nandub is included in the Gknot package.
Please help, thanx.

Hello,
Sorry about this, I simply want to provide as much information as possible about my problem so that those with a possible solution can aid me.
I realized that the output filesize (after shutting down of the hanging Nandub) is ALWAYS 16megs. There was a large divx4 .avi file that I had successfully split yesterday with Nandub 1.0rc2 of the Gknot package, but due to the fact that I was unhappy with the splitting pieces, I held off splitting until today. But when I try to split that file again today, Nandub simply hangs.
Please offer suggestion.
I checked the aspect ratio of the input file, they are of multiples of x16 or something, essentially, fully conforming to that of the requirements mentioned in the faqs.
Thank you once again,
Sam:)

just leave it. after a while it will continue.
it's always 16meg becuase buffer in your nandub is set to 16meg.

Sorry, didn't quite understand you. What do you mean by just "leave it?" Do you mean simply let it run idle while trying to split the .avi and that it will eventually run to completion? Or do you mean, quit Nandub, and restart it at a later time?
Thank you for replying.

Nevermind, you were ABSOLUTELY right on that problem.
Nandub just sits there for like a minute and half, and then continues on as normally. Do you or anyone have ANY idea as to why it is doing this? It's rather annoy, needless to say.
Thank you so much for the help and info.
Sam:)
