ok, I am trying to learn how to make these divx files from DVD's.
I heard from several people that Fair use was the best. I downloaded it. I would get to a certain point then get a message stating "no handler available". After reading the posts it mentioned a few things, among them, a reformat. So, since I just backed up my laptop to clear enough room to do this, I reformatted. Then I tried to use Fair Use and it gives me a message "NO ASPI LAYER". I looked in the posts again and found the program they recommend I install...i forget the name ASPIxxxx. Except that it doesn't install, it is a .rar file. What do I do with a .rar file. I have never heard of it. So I tried a few other things like reloading some basic stuff like ECDC and NERO thinking they might have the file. Many reboots and I still get "NO ASPI LAYER" message.
Since none of these programs have decent doc on how to do it step by step, I need some help getting there. Preferably from start to finish.
