Menu Animation Scenarist BDA Tutorial

does anybody know if there is a tutorial for make menu animation in Scenarist BDA 4.3 ?

I have some tutorials using Sonic Scenarist Designer on my website here: http://www.reykroona.com/?page_id=35

If you don't have designer I'm sure there is a way to do it without, but I can't even imagine how much work that would be slicing all the files and importing them all individually into scenarist.

The tutorials assume you have a working knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects. If you aren't real comfortable with them, they may be a bit hard to follow.

I know my tutorials aren't the best, but I feel like there is NOTHING out there on Scenarist HDMV and I'm just trying to do my part.

i know your tutorials and i like

but i want to know the animation before the menu appears, like in fantastic 4 and silver surfer when you click the menu button there is an animation of the menù and then you can use it or in casino royale, click the menu button and the menu comes from the bottom.......

is impossible or i can to do ?

I haven't seen those menus so it's hard for me to tell, but I could imagine there being 3 different ways they did it.
1. It was BD-J. If this was the case, there isn't much I can help you with.
2. They used InEffect. If the animation was a little choppy and didn't look supper clean, this is probably what they did. I can walk you through how to use this if you want, but I haven't had great results with it yet.
3. The animation was actually rendered into the background animation. This is very similar to how old school dvds were done where all the buttons and animations are just on a video and the overlays are the only actual interactive part.

I'll see if I can find a video of one of those menus to see for sure what they did.
