Hi. I have a problem with my Sony DVD Player (DVP-NS78HP). When I play an avi divx file the DVD player reads it very well and the picture is excellent.
The problems is that when the movie comes in 2 or more cd parts, I like to join all of them in a single avi file using VirtualDub, and after doing that, the DVD Player doesn´t recognize the file, and put a message on screen saying "Divx data error". The manual of the player says that perhaps when a film is a file made of many files, the player will not read it. But I'm wondering what is the difference if after all, once joined, the file would have to be the same for the player as it would be always one file.
As I post in other threads, I hope you to understand my English.
Regards from Argentina.
