I don't have demand for the features, otherwise it would already be supported. What about you?

I voted on Blu-ray, but the only feature I would love is the support for *.avs as input.
Apart from that it's a splendid tool when I want to convert my captures. :)

Someone else brought this up elsewhere, but since it has its own thread now!...
Adding of new encodes to the current list when already encoding would be great!

I've uploaded a new beta that can handle it, I had to change only 5 lines code. In StaxRip if the source file (the script in your case) don't has standard DVD image size StaxRip assumes 1:1 PAR so you have to do AR signaling manually if you want to encode anamorphic. Of course you can tinker with Event Commands to build custom automation or to be prompt for it. Instead of harcoding features I should probably add a couple of features as Event Commands so people can learn about Event Commands from build in examples.

StaxRip has worked so well for me that I haven't updated it for maybe a year! :o
EDIT: Well, I voted for BD support--it occurs to me too that staxrip should be made to work with the DGAVCDec utility and dga files just as it does for DGMPEGDec stuff. Or maybe it does already?? My staxrip ain't been broke so I've been disinclined to fix it (and haven't followed the Beta activity very closely).

1) Working on jobs and adding jobs while jobs are processed (voted)
2) Import of x264 profiles (profile manager)
3) Blu-ray/ H.264 .ts related features (tsMuxeR, MPEG2Repair, TsRemux, Ts4Np, TS Packet Editor, H264TS_Cutter, h264tsto, h264info, BDedit, EVOdemux, SUPread)
4) Automatic field processing (deinterlace etc.) detection (auto scan use yadif() if interlaced newbie proof)

There is a command to delete files but it had a bug so if you want to use it you have to redownload the beta which fixes it. It won't catch the avs and log file because they are written after the event is fired you would use to execute the command. There can probably be 30 different temp files, best thing to do is to put every source in a separate folder and delete the entire folder after encoding. Since there are so many files in the source dir anyway I've removed the temp dir completely recently.

I would like to have the option back of defining the resize slider range (e.g. by specifying the max. width or max hight.) This option has been removed in the recent betas. It would be handy for linear (proportional) upscaling.
Added:
.. and a filter in the filters selection list for adding black borders.

It's probably not common to do this so I've added command only, you can use it as follows:

Latest beta supports creating jobs with a second StaxRip instance, as for Blu-ray output and auto deinterlace detection, I would really like to add it since it's very popular but it's a lot work and I've no personal interest so I can't promise it.
