Does anybody have the same problem? The same happens on my laptop (VISTA SP1 with x700) and on my destop pc (VISTA SP1 with x1950). Two months ago I send crash report but I haven't got reply yet :( F...ing Install Manager !!!!

Did you try turning the DEP off (for the installer file)?

Assuming Vista 32bit, are you installing the version numbered 8.3?

Problems started from 8.3... when they started to use that crazy app called installManager :(

8.3 , 8.4 doesn't matter. As long as they use that f..ing install manager I cannot install drivers via setup.

stumbled upon this - link -
to allow admin to all registry keys as admin. FIXED my CCC/catalyst probs completely.

Be careful though, some have lost sound audio / net access / whatever... :confused:
