Hi.
Since installing Samsung media studio which comes with a Lame package, I have not been able to run besweet in a wav to mp3 mode. I have tried deleting everything in the besweet directory, renaming lame.acm files but I still come up with the following error. I don't know what's in the registry that might be causing a problem (if anything). I had been using besweet gui and have also recently tried using belight. I've also uninstalled samsung media studio, restarted, and no change.
If you have time to help me sort this out, I'd appreciate it.

Don't worry about registry, lame.acm and other installation issues. BeSweet only need lame_enc.dll in the same folder.
Please use the last BeLight package.

Using lame_enc.dll v1.32 (8/8/2003), Engine 3.90

And this is quite old, download the 3.97 or 3.98 beta from Rarewares.

-azid( -s stereo -L -3db )

What is this? Azid is the ac3 decoder and here you don't use ac3.

I actually had downloaded 3.95.1, 3.98b6, lameacm-3.98b6 based on a previous thread I found, and I was sure I copied the .dll into the besweet directory. I copied the 3.98b6 dll into the besweet directory and had no trouble transcoding my file to mp3. I'm a little surprised that this worked since I was also starting with a fresh unpack of the besweet download. I'm happy it works, even at the expense of looking hasty to ask for help.
As far as the azid use in the log file, I'm a new user of belight (I've been using the older gui for quite a while), and I selected the mp3->movie preset: I didn't try to modify any options in case I was selection options that were causing my problems.
Now that I had success, I just deleted all the files in the besweet directory and re-unpacked my zip files of besweet and belight. error 47 came back, so perhaps there's an issue with the zip file? The file is a fresh download of 1.5b31 from doom9. The .dll in the zip is the older 3.90 engine, and the file size is 138k, as opposed to 496k for the 3.98 engine.
Thanks for your help. Hope my feedback is useful.
