I have a BDC-S02 Installed on win xp pro sp2 core 2 duo 2gb ram gf 7950 512mb ram video card.
The BDC blu-ray is installed on a sata connection - I also have a pioneer 110d DVD drive installed on A separate IDE connection.
Since installing the Blu-ray drive I cannot explore or see any files when a blu ray disc is inserted. I can decrypt the files using AnyDvd so the drive is working .Is this normal with blu ray or should i be able to explore the drive? Also I cannot play any blu-ray movies from the drive but PowerDVD plays the decrypted files ok. I have Power DVD 8 which supports blu-ray but it won't recognise any blu-ray files in the drive. Is there a way to fix this?
I have set the DVD region on my player in device manager - But there does not sem to be a way to set the blu-ray region - is this hard coded?
Ordinary DVD files can be explored ok in the drive.
Is there a problem with my blu-ray player/drivers if so any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thx for any help.

Hi!

Is it possible that you do9n't have (but need) a UDF 2.5 driver installed on your system?

THX for the help - not sure - I can burn UDF dvds with nero if that's any indication - otherwise how can i check if i need UDF 2.5 drivers?

No, burning standard DVDs has nothing to do with UDF 2.5.

Since the driver is not included in XP, you'll have to install it. Read the following :

Great Thanks for the help - works well now for Blu ray movie exploring.
Although when I insert a PS3 disc I see nothing - i guess this is a Sony copy protection though.
