Need help with ffmpeg, in concrete gui4ffmpeg

Can anybody help me?

I have the problem, that most of the ffmpeg GUIs dont work on my XP Prof SP 2 . When I want to start convert, the DOS windows opens and closes in abouth 1 second, no output.

In concrete e.g. GUI4FFMPEG

Any clue?
