Hello

I downloaded about 20 five-minute FLV files from the Net, but failed joining them with Avidemux: Although the output file works fine within Avidemux, when I play the joined FLV file with eg. VLC or MPC, after a few minutes, sound and image are out of sync (sound is faster).

I don't know anything about editing videos, but FWIW, I noticed that the frame rate is a bit different from file to file (25.001 fps, 25.004, 25.006, etc.), which could explain the discripency.

Any idea 1) how to investigate why sound/image get out of sync, and 2) how to solve this?

Thank you.

Try to join FLV's used Movica (http://vani.bhargav.googlepages.com/movica).

Thanks but although it says "Success", when playing the output file in VLC, I get no sound and no picture :(

Does Movica come with everything it needs and/or do I need to add other components?

Thanks.

Hmm... it's (joing FLV's without recompression) still problematic (especially for FLV's from YouTube) - not only for Avidemux and Movica.
