DivX Media Format Demux

Is there any application to rescue a menu from a DivX Media format file (.divx)? e.g. the audio from the menu or the video from the menues?
If I open the .divx file in VirtualDub or Avidemux (or whatelse) the menues disappear and I cannot demux nothing.

Is it possible to hex truncate the .divx menu section in a way that I can edit afterwards?
