Hello,
a friend of mine told me about a problem with dual-language AVIs in connection with the user-rights-management of windows (XP, I think the version doesn't matter).
If he plays his dual-language AVIs (made with NANDub, using the GordianKnot 0.23 codecs) with admin-rights on his system, all works perfectly (tested with ZoomPlayer and BSPlayer).
But if he tries to play them with only user-rights, ZoomPlayer crashes when opening the file, and BSPlayer says "unknown file format" (or something like that).
Note: This problem exists only with dual-language AVIs - AVIs with only one audio track work perfectly with user rights.
Does anyone have an idea which files need write-permission or what has to be changed that this works?
I tested it on my system as well, and I have the problem, too.
