h.264 MBAFF framesize in Tektronix Analyzer

Here's a question for anyone who has used the Tektronix video stream analyzer MTS4EA. When I'm looking at 720p content encoded with the MainConcept Encoder V2 in the analyzer, it reports a frame size of 1280x736. This is only for MBAFF content.
However, for 1080 content regardless of interlace settings (i, p, or MBAFF) the frame size is reported as 1920x1088.
Any other tool like MediaInfo or GSpot reports the expected resolution of 1280x720 or 1920x1080.
Where are these "phantom" lines of resolution coming from as my sources were 720 or 1080 respectively?

That's because MBAFF video must be mod32 height, and the encoder pads it as necessary to reach such a height.

Does that mean extra lines were inserted or is it some sort of dummy placeholder? Can I ignore it and treat the footage as standard 720 and 1080 content? Thanks for the quick response!

You can ignore them, but if you're trying to analyze the stream, the lines are a perfectly valid and important part of the datastream (though not to the viewer).
