I have a movie with 5 chapters in DVDMaestro project. I burn it and it plays back on my DVD player. It plays back the whole movie ok, except at chapter points. It stucks at chapter for a second before it continues next chapter. Anyone sees this problem?

Hi,

i have the same problem,I maked a movie with cinemacraft 2.50, the movie is ok, but if i play it in PC or PS2 the movie pauses every chapter point. Perhaps it's a problem with the finish position of the chapters, the chapter finishes in gop X, but the next chapter don't start in gop X, start in gop X+1, my 2 cents.

Please post your results.

Open the "connections" dialogue window in Maestro and repost here with what the settings are for the "action" at each of your chapter points, please, and I'll try to help you further.

Don't forget that there are "basic", "intermediate", and "advanced" viewing options for the "connections" window, so "Advanced" will obviously show you what's going on, in the most detail. It is important to stress that you should not be intimidated by any empty action fields in the "advanced" connections window - just because SOME of them may be empty, does not >NECESSARILY< mean that they MUST be filled!!! It's just a case of filling in those that are relevant for your particular project. I suspect that you will find the answer to your problem somewhere in the action settings for your chapter points.

Thanks Arky, I already find the solution for my problem in the help file; I were making a link from end of chapter to next chapter, and you are ok, no need for this. Problem solved :=)

Aha! I KNEW it was something to do with your chapter-point end-actions! :D

I notice in Maestro there was a way to load a chapter file, was curious if anyone knew what type of file this was and how can you load it in, obviously extract the chapters from the DVD first somehow, any ideas?
