Hey Everyone :),

I'm syncing a VHS dubbing to a DVD movie, and I noticed a problem: when you hear the 's' letter, especially when there's emphasis on it (like in the word 'messy' or 'assessor' ), you hear it as a strong and annoying hiss.

I did a search for it, but had no results. Anybody know a way to fix it? I don't even know what is the name of this kind of "noise". Please comment. Thank you!

Run the audio thru a graphic equalizer to "tune" down the frequency where the hiss is.

Hehe... it's Chinese for me
There's a plug-in named 'Spitfish'. Any comment on that one?

Thats what an equalizer looks like. Should do the trick, but you'll have to tweak it to find the sweet spot...
