View Full Version : AC3 file editing is NOT working with my Vista

I installed Vista Ultimate before it was even released...yes it was the RETAIL version...and since then, I've been UNABLE to do anything with AC3 files at all.
Sometimes I want to downgrade the bitrate (ie...448 to 384, for example) and BeSweet can't do anything. When I load an AC3 file in MeGUI and select AC3 as the file type...it gives me this HUGE error message.
What am I doing wrong? or what am I missing?
I've installed Vista Codecs Pack...
Let me know what other info you folks might need...any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Render an AC3 file in Graphedit and post the results.

Were you able to play the audio in Graphedit?

Yes I am able to...
Here is a screenshot from MeGUI when I even SELECT AC3 audio, when the AC3 file is loaded. As already mentioned, if I do anything from AC3 to AC3 re-encodes via BeSweet/BeLight, the program just crashes out...

Are you sure this isn't a MeGui issue? You might want to post your last screenshot here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=105920

@EuropeanMan
Hi!
Is this problem related to the problematic DVD in your postings at?:
