Is it possible to access the codec properties via wmp10 like it was possible in wmp classic? ie. going to File > Properties > Advanced?

Or alternatively is there a way to access the Cyberlink PowerDVD Audio Codec properties during playback in wmp10? I'm using that codec to decode my audio...yes I know ac3filter exists but I would rather use cyberlinks decoder.

That is not possible because WMP is a piece of garbage.

If there is a properties windows for it you might be able to access with it through radlight filter manager (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/RadLight_Filter_Manager) if you look under directshow filters.

That is not possible because WMP is a piece of garbage.Or because showing a dialog for an object in a playback graph that may be destroyed momentarily turns out not to be the best idea in the world, but that might be just my anticrashist philosophies tinting my views.

If you really want configuration on a filter/codec, you probably would want to ask them to provide a discrete mechanism/powertoy/other-random-front-end for that configuration.

That holds some truth, but on the other hand it works fine in other players.
