I have a bunch of AVCHD files (.m2ts, H.264) created with a camcorder. I want to create a very simple BD:
- no menus
- just one title
- every source .m2ts file becomes a separate chapter on the BD
In case I can't find a BD authoring software that does that (tsMuxeR cannot do what I need), I'm willing to write my own software to create the BD image. The problem is, I don't know the structure of the important files on a BD: index.bdmv MovieObject.bdmv 00000.mpls 00001.clpi
Anybody knows what is the structure (format) of these files for a very simple BD like the one described above? (no menus, just one title, a bunch of .m2ts files in the STREAM directory, each one of them being a separate chapter in the title)
If I learn enough about these files, I will make a small application that can author a simple BD like the one I described, and I will publish the application on this forum.

I am sorry I cannot contribute with that info, but I would be very much interested in the application. I also own an AVCHD camcorder and it would be a great tool.
Why tsMuxeR is not good enough ?

Why tsMuxeR is not good enough ?
Not flexible enough. Read in the first post the description of the BD I want to author - tsMuxeR cannot do that.

by now everybody can probably tell I am a Nero 8 supporter.
you can do what you want with Nero 8 - with menu or without.
a cheaper more workload alternative is probably this - us tsmuxer to create blu ray format (1 file) and insert chapters manually ...
and if you are a sofware expert - i will create a disc with 5 titles for you (1 sec each) and send you the structure files for study

That page doesn't contain any useful information.
Look closer...it gives small descriptions of each file:
index
.mpls
.clpi
.mts

What kind of commands?
The link wasn't meant to answer the OPs complete question but I wouldn't say it has no useful info. :)

I can tell you how its done in Blu Print - I've haven't work with Scenarist.....yet.
For each PC (Playable Content) there's an info setting to adjust the playback count. I set this to 200 or so. Your PC will loop 200 times which is more than enough. The limit is 998 but depending on the length of the PC you will have problems in the mux at those high settings..
Or you can have a post command to say:
Jump ("PC ID").ID;
This will also loop your PC back into itself indefinitely. The issue with the later is that if you want to set a default selected state on your buttons it will always revert back to that default on the loop. I Always set a default selected state since not all players will do this as you insert a disc.
I'll try to get back to you on the resume info

Hi everyone
i have a question,some BDs,for example...Planet Earth 5th Disc,the files of BDMV\STREAM\ are
00000.m2ts
00001.m2ts
00002.m2ts
00003.m2ts
00005.m2ts
00006.m2ts
00007.m2ts
00008.m2ts
00009.m2ts
but there is not 00004.m2ts,why?i know, the “.clpi” files store Clip information associated with a Clip AV stream file,so there is not 00004.clpi,and the filles of BDMV\PLAYLIST\ there is not 00005.mpls,why?
