Using Vdubmod and avisynth in sinc

Ok So this I am having some problems. I personally do not like avisynth just because i haven't gotten used to it yet. I have my own personal settings for encoding with vdubmod and have been doing it for quite awhile. however i have always been encoding for myself and not for anyone else. Now I am starting to encode for others and one of the things i need to do is to insert .ass files for hardsubs however i also want to load strait from a .vob file so i can do everything in one encoding process and loose as little quality as possible. I want to be able to open the .vob in vdubmod and apply my personal filter settings but also add a avisynth script command for TextSub("C:\myhardsubs.ass") and have it do both is this possible. Right now when i load the .vob with vdubmod and then just go to the script editor and type in what i need the minute i hit exit on the editor and go back to it my script is gone. what do i do o gurus of video encoding wisdom.

Or if not, just how do i right a avisynth script that loads a .vob and then the TextSub("C:\myhardsubs.ass"), and once i load that in vdubmod can i then also apply whatever vdub filters and video compression that i want in the same encoding run?

You know, TextSub is a virtualdub filter as well. Just rename it to VSFilter.vdf.

Foxy thanks for the advice on copying VSFilter and changing it from a .dll to a .vdf that worked very well and allows me to skip the .d2v process compleatly.

Also MiSfit thanks for all of your help. I am currently beginning to encode for an anime group so i am awhere of hardsubs and softsubs and my hardsubing is actually only for me to add in specificly localized (encoded by/for) info the files will actually be softsub .srt files. Thanks alot for everything.

Also i have been trying to add a custom logo to the video to specific frame sequences in the video, and i have a complished this task. however is there a logo filter other than logo17vb that will allow me to use a .png file or that will allow me to resize the logo over the video. The current filter places the logo over the video with the images native size. Therefor the image is to large, if i make the image the right size it is blocky as the resolution is now very low. how can i overlay a high rez image over just the top corner of the video so that the logo looks crisp and clean? Doesn't have to be .png i guess i mean i could use a .bmp with an alpha channel. but either way.
