I have my large 19gb m2ts movie and a few trailers. The PS3 will play the trailers fine, but not the movie. When it comes to the movie the screen goes black but there is no sound or picture, but it can still be forwarded and reversed.
I noticed the movie is DTS-HD (I tried tsmuxer with normal DTS too) and the trailers are AC3. Is that relevant?

DTS thing is relevant for no sound. PS3 won't play DTS in m2ts, only AC3.
As for video... no clue (if it's h264, see what level TSMuxer reports for the video stream, use the option to change it to 4.1 if not already)

you'll need to convert the DTS to ac3 using eac3to. theres a great wiki site that describes how to use eac3to, just google it.

That's just DTS MA (aka dts lossless) for Blu-ray support, good old DTS was always supported on DVD/Blu-ray... just not in ts or m2ts. As far as I can tell, it won't be with this firmware either. The reason TS support is there is for AVCHD, which only uses LPCM and AC-3, so we shouldn't expect DTS support.
