Subtitle remains on screen after it should have gone off.

I backed up tokyo majin which has a second sub track which is to translate japan text but after backing it up one of these subs tracks stays on screen when it should have gone off, if i run the dvd forward a second the sub disappears but if i don't run it on it just stays there, any ideas why this has happened ? or a way to manually fix it in scenarist?

well its been a while ...

is it all subs in that stream that stay visible, or only a few?

you could attach the .sst for this stream, it may show where the problem is. otherwise you can manually set the display time for each sub in scenarist. use the zoom/magnifier to expand the stream, highlight the sub in question, and change the 'duration' of the sub.
