Here's a very nice looking GUI for MediaInfo.
MediaInfoGUI .NET 1.0 (http://teejee2008.wordpress.com/2008/04/03/mediainfogui-net-10/)

Nice gui you've got there:) Maybe you could add support for exporting the report.
Anyway well done.:)

Just to avoid any confusion, this is not my app. Maybe we can cantact the author to add/improve some features. I found it just recently.

@TEB: No, it works fine here even with a file 13GB large.

Hii everyone
I'm the author of this app. Thanks for your comments.

I have no idea about the file size problem. I checked it with some large files and its working OK.

@XhmikosR
If you right click on the file properties panel you will get an option to copy it to the clipboard. I'll put an option for exporting it to a file in the next version.

I have to admit I didn't even think about right clicking on the file properties panel:P

Thanks again for your app.

Does it show reference frames?

XhmikosR

I think this has to do with the mediainfo and not the gui. But in the newest versions, yes you can see a lot of stuff.

by the way isn't it better to have the item selected when you move the mouse over it ? it may feel a little weird but that way you dont have to keep clicking on every item

It's just my opinion. I don't like it to show automatically the info when I point the mouse over a file. Someone else might have a different opinion.

As soon as I drag in a file (I tried several types), it hangs for a while and the it will crash:

@LoRd_MuldeR

There may be a problem with the .NET framework installation on your system. Are other .NET applications working properly? Please check and let me know. I have no idea what the problem could be. I'll post an update if I find out anything.

I still get the same crash with v2.2 :(

The .NET Framework 3.5.1 is installed and working properly (MeGUI, ATI CCC, Paint.NET, StaxRip and so on work fine...)

Any chance to get some more debug info than just that unspecific crash message?

@LoRd_MuldeR

I can't fix it till I find out whats wrong. I'm unable to reproduce the problem on my PC so i'm unable to do anything about it. That crash message is really unspecific. Normally when an exception occurs in a .NET app you get a detailed report of the exception. In this case its not reporting anything specific.

Does this problem also occur when you use the toolbar button for adding files ? Does it show the file open dialog before showing that error ?
