Streaming Machines have launched a thin proprietary version of MPEG4 specially designed for embedded and mobile platforms. It is highly optimized in C and is highly optimized for memory accesses. A platform specific highly optimized version for Intel Pentium platform is also available for porting files from mobile platforms. It also has proprietary error resilience mechanism for erroneous networks. The decoder have proprietary error concealment algorithm.
