How to burn 99 minute CD-R

Plesae help me. I can`t to burn 99 minute CD-R in my CD rewriter LG..
I use WinONCD or CD creator software.

This should support up to 120 min disks

To write 80min + cds incl 99min your writer needs to support DAO overburning.
I use Nero 5.5.5.6

under File/preferences/expert features insert max overburn size.
note you must use "DAO"

below are the LG recorders capable of overburning.

I have the LG 8120 and wasted a lot of disc to find out what is the best way to burn this discs with this recorder.
First i must say i only use 99min for VCD and SVCD. And therefore i use VCDeasy and CDRwin; fireburner works too.
I tried Nero 5.5.... but over 85mins sometimes i got play-back-proplems.

Has anybody had any trouble playing the 99 min CD-R's on a regular CD-ROM drive.

I found a possible concern about these discs at another site:

"Some audio CD players and CD-ROM drives will also experience difficulties processing the blanks, especially when trying to start a track. The playback may be delayed by as much as 45 seconds until the player has found the right track. Some players will not play tracks that start beyond the 90 minute mark when the track is directly selected."

I can play movies no problem using 90min cd's on my pioneer standalone
but when I try to play them on my PC (ricoh 9120) it struggles towards the end of the disk.

crazy really because it burned the dammed things originally! :confused:

Burning dosen't mean playing !
I have, as i said, a LG 8120B (12x,8x,32x). When the SD2 came up, a friend of mine burned SD2 discs with his old plextor. The discs where only readable in CD-Burner (a had an old Mitsumi 4xWrite,4xRead).
With the LG, this disc a not readable any more (my LG reads 32x). I assume your Ricoh is a newer device, able to read at least 16x.

I made 90mins/99mins disc with nero, CeQuadrat-Videopack 4 + WinonCD 3.8, Easy CD Creator. Now as i said i only use the VCDeasy + CDRwin 3.8d route burning only 4x. This secures that the disc can be played in my Stande-Alone, my LG AND my DVD-Rom. With the other progs i got the same proplems as you.
