Parsing IFO Files....hangs in DVD Decrypter

Hi,
Using DVD Decrypter ver 3.5.4.0
Trying to backup RENDITION. I never get to see the files selected on the right side of the screen and unable click on the green arrow to start ripping.

It sits at the last .IFO file at the bottom of the screen with the message:
"Parsing IFO Files: .......VTS_08_0.IFO"
and sits there forever.

On the top of the screen, it says:
Label: RENDITION
Region 1 - RCE protection: Unknown
Copyright protection system type: CSS/CPPM

I then did the following:
Tools-IFO-Region Patch-Region 1
Explorer did a Open File.
I selected all the .IFO files from the DVD drive.
and the Error message is:
Cannot open file D:\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO
Reason: Access is denied.

I also did the following:
Tools-IFO-Region Information
Then I selected one of the IFO files, I get:
Region - 1
RCE protection - No

I have done backups in the past but for this RENDITION, I am all lost as it does not rip at all.

Any tips pls ?

Hi!

"Rendition" cannot be proeprly processed by DVD Decypter v.3.5.4.

This New Line Cinema release contains an iteration of the so-called "XProtect" type of copy protection. This DVD can be properly processed by the most recent versions of the following (Perhaps others, as well):

DVD95Copy Pro
AnyDVD
DVDFab HD Decrypter

Hi,
I downloaded and tried DVDFab HD Decrypter.
It starts the process of ripping but then continuously gives an Error like..
"Read Error, do you want to Retry, Abort, Ignore, Ignore All ?"
Retry or Ignore does not help.

If anyone has managed to do this backup for RENDITION, I would be interested to hear back.

Just cleaning the disk and re-trying with DVDFab HD Decrypter solved my read error problem.

I wish this tool could continue where it left off in the Decrypting process by leaving the files that are good and Decrypting the ones that failed in the first pass.

Anyways, it works now and I am happy.
